GM,
Crypto wants TradFi.
TradFi wants stablecoins.
And suddenly everyone realized the people they need to meet are at the other conference.

🗽Your VC should work as hard for you as A16Z does for Partiful
NY Tech week is coming up June 1-7, with over 900 events in just one week
The event series was created by A16Z who invested in Partiful. This means their official calendar only allows Partiful hosted events, and Luma events are basically shadowbanned. Now that’s what we call a value-add investor.

🏦 The C-Word is out. 'Digital Assets' is in
The industry is going through a mass institutional rebrand.
If you've noticed fewer conferences using words like “crypto” or “blockchain,” you're not imagining it.
And when organizers aren’t rebranding entirely, they’re adding institutional tracks, stablecoin summits, and closed-door finance programming on top.
Paris Blockchain Week renamed itself to Signal Week: The Institutional Summit for Digital Assets for 2027
Blockworks shifted from Permissionless going full speed on Digital Assets Summit in London and NYC (with Abu Dhabi being postponed)
Proof of Talk added StableDay for banks deploying stablecoin infrastructure
Bitcoin Conference created a Bitcoin for Corporations Day
KBW, Istanbul Blockchain Week, Consensus and many others launched a closed-door Institutional one day event
The list goes on….
🔄 The Crypto TradFi swap

Crypto OGs believe that;
The industry is small enough that everyone already knows each other
To save event ROI, the GTM strategy needs to go beyond crypto
So while crypto is venturing out to TradFi events, TradFi is getting invited to every crypto conference.
And everyone is crossing over.
TradFi coming in:
Franklin Templeton's CEO is speaking at Proof of Talk
BlackRock & SWIFT at ETHConf
Nasdaq President keynoted Consensus
Czech National Bank Governor spoke at Bitcoin 2026
Crypto going out:
Circle, Paxos, BitGo, and Rain are sponsoring Money20/20 — a traditionally well-known fintech brand, which now brands itself "the world's #1 show for stablecoins and digital assets"
BCB Group is attending SIBOS, the Swift banking conference and another new fan favorite among crypto companies.
It’s basically Freaky Friday.
📰 Other event news
Dubai's loss is London and Singapore's gain: Now that DAS, CfC St. Moritz, TOKEN2049 Dubai, TON Gateway are all postponed after regional tensions in the Middle East, the attention has shifted toward Singapore and London.
Case in point, Cardano Foundation is requesting $3.66M from its treasury to host their summit and to become TOKEN2049 Singapore’s Premier Title Sponsor.
Consensus 2027 dates are already announced and it will be coming back to Miami next year. The 2026 edition drew ~35% institutional attendance and some attention regarding supporting a side event at a strip club. Fun fact: E11EVEN is where Zach Witkoff — World Liberty Financial co-founder, was arrested in 2022.
